      Oxford United to Win

      Reason for tip

Back Oxford to beat Bristol City on Saturday. Oxford have won four straight home games, while City are winless in their last seven away matches and have struggled defensively on the road.

      Oxford United 2-0

      Reason for tip

A 2-0 home win for Oxford looks a solid bet. Three of their nine league victories have been by two goals, including 2-0 wins over Norwich and Plymouth.

Oxford United vs Bristol City Predictions

Home advantage can carry Oxford through

Oxford have enjoyed four straight home victories in the Championship and they should be backed to get the better of Bristol City on Saturday.

City are eight places above Oxford in the table, but the two sides are separated by just five points. The Robins sit eighth with ten wins, 11 draws and eight losses, while Oxford, who were promoted from League One last season, are 16th with nine wins, nine draws and 11 defeats.

City won their last Championship outing, beating Blackburn 2-1 on Saturday, but it was a tightly contested game.

Oxford have avoided defeat in five of their last six home games in the Championship, while Bristol City have failed to win any of their last seven on the road.

Oxford should be backed to get the better of City on Saturday, with the visitors’ defence looking vulnerable. They have gone seven away games without keeping a clean sheet in the Championship.

The hosts are in better form and a 2-0 win for Oxford looks the best correct-score bet.

Three of Oxford’s nine Championship victories this season have come via a two-goal margin and they have already beaten Norwich and Plymouth 2-0 at home this term.
