Oxford set for another relegation blow

Watford are worth backing to get an away win at Oxford on Saturday. The hosts have gone three games without a victory at home in the Championship and have been beaten in their last two matches at the Kassam Stadium.

Watford are nine places and 13 points above Oxford in the table. The hosts are 19th with nine wins, 12 draws and 16 defeats, while Watford sit tenth with 15 wins, seven draws and 15 losses from their 37 games.

Oxford’s 2-1 defeat away to ten-man Hull on Wednesday was their fifth loss in seven Championship games. Hull were priced at 3/4 to win the game, and the result was no surprise as Oxford slipped closer towards relegation danger.

Watford were 1-0 winners against Oxford last time they met in the Championship and a narrow victory for the visitors looks on the cards again, with the hosts having lost two of their last three matches by the odd goal.
