Paderborn vs Werder Bremen Predictions

Paderborn look destined for the drop

This is a game Paderborn simply can’t afford to lose. With four games remaining, Steffen Baumgart’s side are eight points adrift of Fortuna Dusseldorf in the relegation playoff place and defeat would see them all but down.

The River Islanders had recorded 1-0 wins at Freiburg and Schalke, while holding Borussia Monchengladbach to a goalless draw, and are perhaps not as bad as their lowly league position implies.

Florian Kohfeldt’s crew have been at their most productive on the road, collecting 19 of their 25 points away from home, and know the importance surrounding this fixture.

This looks sure to be tight but Bremen, with the added quality of Davy Klaasen, Leonardo Bittencourt and Milot Rashica, make far more appeal than the struggling hosts.
