Portsmouth simply cannot afford to drop points in these types of games if they are to have any chance of bridging the gap between themselves and the top six. Doncaster should give Pompey enough to think about

Doncaster are currently eight points from safety and are rooted to the bottom of the League One table. Doncaster have won their last two away matches and should give an out of sorts Portsmouth side plenty to think about. Rovers have scored in each of their last four away matches and are expected to find the net at least once on Saturday against a Portsmouth side whose defence has been far from watertight of late. Portsmouth have kept one clean sheet in their last eight games.

I think an investment on both teams to score at a shade of odds against could be a wise one in this game and will be the main selection here. Neither side has been tight at the back of late and with both sides needing the points, it will hopefully make for an open game. In the correct score market, I will predict a 2-1 home win.
