Close clash expected at Deepdale

Both Preston and QPR look to have done enough to pull clear of the jaws of relegation in the Championship and there might not be much between them at Deepdale.

QPR did the hard work earlier in the season and have won just three games since the start of February, having started to slip towards the danger zone.

But their last three Championship fixtures have yielded five points and they can pretty much start planning for another season in the second tier.

They have struggled in the final third beyond ten-goal striker Emil Riis Jakobsen and have already dropped points against lowly Derby, Stoke and Cardiff outfits in April.
