Hamza Igamane To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Hamza Igamane has scored five goals in his last six Rangers appearances. The Moroccan striker has found his feet after a slow start in Scotland and should get some opportunities against a Dundee side that has conceded multiple goals in six of their eight away Premiership games, including four at Aberdeen.

Gers can get back to winning ways

Rangers will aim to continue their strong record against Dundee when they host the Dark Blues at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Light Blues have dominated this fixture historically and even more so in recent times, winning 12 of the last 14 meetings since Dundee’s last victory over them back in 2017.

You have to go back to 2001 to find Dee’s last win at Ibrox, which looks unlikely to be repeated this year even if Philippe Clement’s side have not been good enough to mount a title challenge through the first half of the campaign.

Dundee struggling for goals on the road

There were some signs of improvement from them last weekend when they were unlucky to lose the Scottish League Cup Final to Celtic in a penalty shoot-out after a thrilling 3-3 draw at Hampden.

And a similar showing should mean Rangers have too much quality for Dundee, who have lost three of their last four away trips in the league.  The Dens Park outfit have scored either 0 or 1 goals in each of their last six away trips and may struggle to find the back of the net at Ibrox, where they have failed to score in six of their last eight visits.

Rangers’ attacking prowess at home could be the deciding factor. They have scored in every home game this season, averaging 2.38 goals per match and with Dundee conceding an average of 1.88 goals when playing away, Rangers will fancy their chances of securing a 2-0 win.
