Real Madrid to Win and Over 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have won eight of their nine home league games this season, while their last 11 fixtures have all contained 3+ goals. There have also been in excess of two strikes in seven of Las Palmas’ matches, while they have lost two in a row.

Real Madrid 3-1

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have scored at least three in five of their last eight outings in La Liga, but not kept a clean sheet in three. Las Palmas lost 3-1 at Villarreal earlier this season and have only failed to score in two of their last nine.

Real Madrid vs Las Palmas Predictions

  • Real Madrid have won eight of their last nine home league games
  • Las Palmas are on a run of back-to-back defeats
  • There have been 3+ goals in six of Los Blancos’ last nine La Liga outings at the Bernabeu

Real should kick on

They needed extra time, but Real Madrid eventually beat Celta Vigo 5-2 in the Copa del Rey last weekend, their eleventh successive game to contain 3+ goals.

Seven of those matches have ended in a victory at the 90 minute mark, including impressive successes over Atalanta (3-2), Sevilla (4-2) and Mallorca (3-0).

Carlo Ancelotti’s side, who go into this weekend only a point off top spot in La Liga, are primed to continue that run at home, where they have scored 24 goals across eight outings, winning seven times.

Las Palmas look up against it

That is bad news for Las Palmas, who make the trip to the Spanish capital with one of the division’s worst defences, conceding 29 times in 19 top flight fixtures.

They have also been beaten in each of their last two outings, a thumping 4-0 reversal to Elche in the cup and 2-1 home loss to Getafe in their most recent match.

Those results mean there have been 3+ goals in seven of their last nine games, while Diego Martínez’s side have lost five times in nine attempts on the road in the league in 2024/25.

I predict that Real Madrid will win this game with 3+ goals scored, selecting 3-1 to the hosts as a correct score prediction.
