Real Madrid have scored three goals or more in ten of their 26 Primera Liga games this season and backing over 2.5 goals with them to win is the best bet when they host Rayo Vallecano at the Bernabeu on Sunday.

Real are third in the table, four places above Rayo Vallecano, with the two sides separated by 18 points. Real have 16 wins, six draws and four losses, while Rayo have nine wins, nine draws and eight defeats.

Real Madrid have won 17 of their last 20 home league games and have come out on top in eight of the last nine meetings with Rayo Vallecano at home. Rayo’s form has been up and down recently, with three wins and two defeats in their last six games, and they are without a win in three.

Neither side has been solid at the back lately. Real Madrid have failed to keep a clean sheet in eight of their last ten Primera Liga games, while it’s three games since Rayo Vallecano last recorded a shutout.

Real Madrid have conceded in seven of their last eight home games in all competitions and they can warm up for Wednesday’s Champions League trip to Atletico Madrid by winning this 3-1.
