Real Madrid and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have won four of their last five La Liga games but have only kept one clean sheet during that run. They have won six of the last eight league meetings with Valencia, scoring at least two times on seven occasions but Los Che have scored in six of their last eight games against Real, and two of the last three at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid 2-1

Reason for tip

Real Madrid are full of goals when their opponents are happy to open the game up, but Valencia are going to be reluctant to do that until late on, even if they are chasing the game. Los Che could catch the hosts off guard and take the lead, but Los Blancos have the quality to grab a 2-1 win once they apply incessant pressure.

Kylian Mbappe To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Kylian Mbappe’s double strike against Leganes last week took the Frenchman to 22 goals in the league, 12 of which have been scored in his last 10 appearances.

Los Blancos locked in battle for top spot

Real Madrid are locked in a battle for top spot in Spain and should not let any points slip form their grasp when they entertain lowly Valencia at Estadio Bernabeu on Saturday. This clash falls between two high-profile cup games for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, but the Los Blancos boss will ensure his side are fully focused for the job in hand.

They almost crashed out of the Copa del Rey in midweek but somehow found a way to make the best of a bad display. The survival instincts of the side have been on show in the Champions League as well this season and those qualities mark them out as a team to be feared again.

Valencia had to the capital with renewed hope after an upturn in fortunes since Carlos Corberan got his feet under the table. And they could be boosted by the return of leading scorer Hugo Duro after injury.

Duro can drag Valencia onto the scoresheet

Duro’s potential inclusion from the start would aid their hopes of ending a 17-year winless run at the Bernabeu, but Real Madrid may still have too much quality for them in the end.

Los Blancos have won four of their last five La Liga games, but kept only one clean sheet during that run. The absence of first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and shaky form of back-up Andriy Lunin gives further encouragement to any both teams to score bets.

Kylian Mbappe is now in red-hot goalscoring form as he chases Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski down in the race to be La Liga’s top marksman. The Frenchman can add to his 33-goal season’s tally to ensure the hosts win with both teams on the scoresheet again.
