Sociedad not providing much excitement

Real Sociedad are the lowest scorers in home matches in La Liga this season, netting just six times in nine games. However, they also have one of the best defences, conceding just half a dozen goals at Estadio Municipal de Anoeta.

Imanol Alguacil’s side have kept six home clean sheets, with half of those six goals they have conceded coming in their last outing at the Reale Arena as they lost 3-1 to Valencia.

That is their only home match this season that has contained three or more goals, while they have drawn three and won four of their nine fixtures at Estadio Municipal de Anoeta.

Vigo keeping things tidy

Celta Vigo’s away record of late has been thoroughly impressive, keeping four clean sheets in their last five La Liga games on the road, and six in total from nine league outings.

They have only conceded seven times on the road, five of which came at the hands of the division’s top scorers Real Madrid, with just three of their away games including three or more goals.

Their record meanwhile is identical to Sociedad’s, winning four, drawing three and losing two, and I think these two could cancel each other out in this meeting.
