Reason for tip

No team has drawn more games in Ligue 1 this season than Lens and they can share the spoils again when they visit the Stade Auguste-Delaune, with Reims having drawn two of their last four fixtures at the venue.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Reims have drawn two of their last four home matches by a 1-1 scoreline and that was also the outcome in last season’s corresponding fixture with Lens. The visitors are draw specialists so another 1-1 could be on the cards.

Still reunion to end all-square

Mid-table Reims and Lens will meet in Ligue 1 on Friday night and the main talking point ahead of the game will be the return of Will Still to the Stade Auguste-Delaune.

Still left his position as Reims manager towards the end of last season before taking over at Lens during the summer, but there is little to separate his new side from his old in the standings, with just a point and place between the two teams.

Neither side are in great form, with Reims winning just once in five matches and Lens registering only two victories in 11 across all competitions, although Friday’s visitors have drawn five of those games and it would be no surprise to see this clash end up all-square as well.

Nothing to separate evenly-matched pair

No team has picked up more draws in Ligue 1 this season than Lens (five), while Reims, under Still’s replacement in the dugout Luka Elsner, have shared the spoils in two of their last four home fixtures, both of which have finished 1-1, including last weekend’s draw with Lyon.

When these two sides met in last season’s corresponding fixture it also finished 1-1 and a similarly tight game is expected on Friday, with no more than one goal having separated the pair across six of their last eight competitive meetings.
