Roma to claim crucial three points

Roma have won ten of their last 12 home games against Genoa in Serie A, and Friday’s Stadio Olimpico clash offers another opportunity for Claudio Ranieri’s side to extend that dominance.

Roma are one place above Genoa in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won. Genoa, who are in 11th, have five wins, eight draws and seven defeats, while Roma are tenth with six wins, six draws and eight losses.

Genoa drew 0-0 with Lecce two weeks ago on their last away day, but they were 1-0 winners against Parma in their most recent game on Sunday.

However, Genoa’s struggles in front of goal could hinder their chances of getting a result. They have scored just seven goals in nine away games this season – an average of 0.8 goals per game on the road.

Roma have won their last five home games in Serie A when they have been the odds-on favourites, and they will be expected to get the better of Genoa to justify their odds-on status once again.

Genoa have suffered two 2-0 losses in Serie A this season and Roma to win by the same scoreline looks like a decent option for correct-score bettors.
