Bees Set to Outclass Rotherham Again

In-form Brentford can bag a third league win on the bounce when they travel to South Yorkshire to face Rotherham United on Tuesday evening.

The pre-season promotion favourites made a slow start to the campaign, but they’re now unbeaten in seven (W3, D4) after a hard-fought 2-1 success over arch rivals QPR at Griffin Park on Saturday.

Thomas Franke’s charges have swiftly moved into contention and sit just five points behind leaders Norwich City in seventh going into this clash – a gap they will hope to close further by the time the midweek fixtures are concluded on Wednesday night.

The Bees bagged comprehensive 5-1 and 2-4 wins over the Millers when they met in 2018/19 and there’s little to suggest anything other than a similar result this time around, with Rotherham losing four of their last six starts.

Paul Warne’s side held second-placed Bournemouth to a 2-2 draw here on Saturday, but they really got away with one in that contest after being dominated.

Brentford should be able to dictate matters and are unlikely to fluff the opportunities that Bournemouth had, with talisman Ivan Toney already on 12 goals for the season. The Bees can win this one fairly convincingly and we’re forecasting a 1-3 victory in their favour.
