Rotherham should be backed to win at home to Shrewsbury on Saturday, with the visitors having lost six times in their last eight League One away games.

Both teams have lost more games than they’ve won, but Rotherham are eight places above Shrewsbury in the table, with ten wins and 11 defeats from their 28 games this season, while the visitors have won six and lost 17.

It’s hard to draw many conclusions from Shrewsbury’s recent League One results, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six outings. However, they did lose 1-0 to Stockport last week in their most recent away game.

Rotherham are in good form going forward, having scored in seven of their last eight league games, including finding the net at least twice in four of their last five. In contrast, Shrewsbury have failed to score in three successive away games.

Shrewsbury have sustained three consecutive 1-0 defeats, and Rotherham to win by the same scoreline looks a decent correct-score bet.
