      Scotland vs Greece Predictions

      • Greece have won six of their last eight matches
      • Scotland have lost just three of their last 14 home matches
      • Four of Scotland’s last five games at Hampden have featured fewer than three goals

Scotland growing into the Nations League

Scotland looked relegation certainties after three Group A matches, but they have given themselves a great chance of pulling off a great escape.

Steve Clarke’s team rallied to earn victories over Croatia and Poland as well as a draw with Portugal to reach the playoffs and now have a chance to stay in the top section after Scott McTominay’s goal gave them a 1-0 win in Greece on Thursday.

However, cannot celebrate yet. There is plenty of work to do and the Greeks look capable of earning a draw from their visit to Hampden Park.

      Greek away record deserves respect

Greece were unfortunate not to have won their Group B section after finishing level on points with England, and a 2-1 win at Wembley at Wembley was undoubtedly the highlight of the campaign.

They lost out on goal difference, but have won their last four away games in a run that also included a victory in Ireland.

Scotland’s home form is enough to suggest they can more than hold their own, but it would not be a surprise if the match ended in a draw, with correct-score enthusiasts pointed to a 1-1 scoreline.
