Struggling Shrews host high-flying Wrexham

Shrewsbury sit third from bottom in League One, eight points adrift of safety, and they face a tough assignment against automatic promotion contenders Wrexham on Thursday.

The visitors are the odds-on favourites but Salop have been better since Gareth Ainsworth took charge and they’ve only lost one of their last four.

I am still leaning towards a Wrexham win, but the better angle for our main bet could be backing both teams to score at evens rather than going for a result.

The Red Dragons have shared the goals around this season and an outside option for an anytime effort is defender Max Cleworth. The 22-year-old has five goals in 21 league games and has three in his last 12 games across all competitions.
