Spartak Moscow managed to extend their unbeaten start to the season last weekend, but a 1-1 draw at Ufa wasn’t exactly a welcome result and it leaves them with a rather underwhelming tally of five points from their opening three games.

That being said, it’s hardly surprising from last season’s 7th place finishers, who collected just 39 points from 30 games last season. However, the hosts are unbeaten in their last five Russian Premier League matches and could be a big test for their Moscow rivals.

The visitors are also sitting on an unbeaten start to the season, winning two of three matches so far and without defeat in the Russian top flight since the start of December.
