Sporting Lisbon 3-1

Both teams have scored in Sporting’s last two wins and a third straight 3-1 win could be on the cards following triumphs by that scoreline against Estoril and Casa Pia AC, while Famalicao have found the net in their last four league games.

Sporting Lisbon vs Famalicao Predictions

Visitors to contribute to open contest

Sporting have scored 67 goals in 25 games this season, more than any other team in the Primeira Liga, but Famalicao have scored in four consecutive league matches and both teams can find the net at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on Saturday.

Sporting lead the Primeira Liga, having won 18 of their 25 games this season, while Famalicao are ninth in the table with eight wins, ten draws and seven losses. The leaders are eight places and 25 points above their visitors.

Sporting have won the last six Primeira Liga head-to-heads between the sides and are on a good run, having won their last two league matches. However, Famalicao have also been in good form, winning four of their last six.

Sporting beat Casa Pia AC 3-1 in their last Primeira Liga game last weekend, and have won 17 of the 21 games in which they’ve scored first this season. This was Sporting’s sixth consecutive league game with both teams scoring, and while Casa Pia AC had their chances, they didn’t make the most of them.

Both teams have scored in four of Sporting’s last six Primeira Liga home games and in seven of Famalicao’s 12 on the road.

Famalicao should get a goal here. They have found the net in their last four league games, scoring at least twice in two of those, and they are averaging 1.20 goals a game in their five Primeira Liga games against teams in the top four this season.

Both teams have scored in Sporting’s last two wins and a third straight 3-1 win could be on the cards following triumphs by that scoreline against Estoril and Casa Pia AC.
