There might not be too much attacking action when St-Etienne host Rennes at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on Saturday. The recommended bet is to go under the goals.

Both teams have lost more games than they have won this season, with Rennes, in 15th place, having won six and lost 12 of their 20 games, while St-Etienne are one place below them with five wins and 12 defeats.

Rennes have recorded six victories in the last seven Ligue 1 head-to-heads between the teams, but they have failed to win any of their last ten away games. St-Etienne are struggling to get wins, having not won in four league games.

Both sides are in poor form and, although Rennes won last time, they had been on a losing run before that. A goalless draw is not an unlikely correct-score option.
