Celtic are set to win another Scottish Premiership title, opening up a 13-point gap over rivals Rangers, and attention will now turn to when they lift the crown rather than if.

The Bhoys did lose 2-1 in their last away game to Hibs as the hangover from an impressive Champions League performance against Bayern Munich kicked in.

However Brendan Rodgers’ men bounced back with a dominant success over Aberdeen in midweek, beating the Dons 5-1.

They have won the last seven meetings between them and St Mirren, their opponents on Saturday.

The Saints have picked up some impressive results recently, including beating Rangers 2-0 at Ibrox, which led to the dismissal of Philippe Clement.

The race for a European spot is a fierce one in the Scottish top flight this season however and the hosts will have to be more consistent if they are to secure one of those places.

Both teams have scored in four of Celtic’s last five matches and the same is fancied here, St Mirren have shown that they can be competitive against the big teams recently and can get on the scoresheet. However they look set for defeat against the dominant visitors.
