The Allianz Arena in Munich will host this season’s Champions League final and the race to get there begins tonight with teams playing the first qualifiers for the tournament, which has a new group-stage format this year.

The New Saints begin their campaign at home to Montenegrin side Decic Tuzi, who have never reached the Champions League qualifying stage.

Home matches have typically been where TNS have thrived in European competition – they have only lost one of their last eight continental games at Park Hall and have picked up wins over Viktoria Plzen and Linfield.

They should have enough to get the better of a visiting side who lack experience at this level.
