Juventus and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Juventus have won 27 of their last 37 matches against Torino. The Old Lady should be too strong for a Torino side that has lost four of their last seven home games. Both teams have scored in Juve’s last two away league matches.

Juventus 2-1

Reason for tip

Juventus have scored multiple goals in five of their eight away Serie A games this term, but they have conceded in three of their last five away league games and may settle for a 2-1 win.

Kenan Yildiz To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Kenan Yildiz ended a nine-game scoring drought with his fine strike against AC Milan last time out and could be about to embark on a goal run. He has scored double the amount of goals he should have this season in Serie A, according to his personal expected goals.

Torino vs Juventus Predictions

  • Juventus have won 27 of their last 37 matches against Torino.
  • Torino have lost four of their last seven home games
  • Juventus have scored multiple goals in five of their eight away Serie A games this term

Old Lady aims to extend derby dominance

Juventus travel across Turin to face local rivals Torino in the latest edition of the Derby della Mole on Saturday. Thiago Motta’s men will looking to maintain their impressive record in this fixture over the years which has seen the Old Lady remain unbeaten across the last 21 meetings.

The Bianconeri are also unbeaten in Serie A this term and will be looking to turn a few more of the draws into wins in the second half of the campaign.

Juventus, who lost to AC Milan in the semi-final of the Italian Super Cup last week, will be desperate to push up the table and should take all three points from  Torino side that have been poor at home.

Torino have lost their scoring touch

Paolo Vanoli’s side have lost six of their last nine at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino and appear to have lost the ability to find the back of the net.  Il Toro’s four goals in their last 10 games is the worst return of any Italian top-flight team over the same period.

Given Juventus’ historical dominance in this fixture and their current form, an away win seems the most likely outcome. However, the passionate atmosphere of a derby match could inspire Torino to put up a strong fight.

A 2-1 victory for Juventus appears to be a reasonable prediction, reflecting both their superiority and the possibility of Torino finding the net in front of their home supporters.
