Torino’s worrying form

After a magnificent start to the season, in which they won three of their opening five games, Torino are sinking without a trace.

They have now picking up just one victory across their last nine outings, that being a 1-0 success against mid-table Empoli last month.

At home, though, Paolo Vanoli’s side have seriously struggled, going four without a win and losing three times, with their only point during that period coming in a 1-1 draw against bottom club Monza.

Can Parma go back-to-back?

Looking to take advantage will be a Parma side who Monza in their most recent match, with Lautaro Valenti netting a last-gasp goal to earn a 2-1 success.

That pulled the Crusaders clear of the relegation zone, and was in fact a second win in five, having also defeated Lazio at the start of December.

Both of those victories came at home, but they have lost just two of their last seven on the road, winning once, at Venezia in November.

I predict that Parma will win this game, thus sealing back-to-back Serie A victories for the first time since July 2020, with 2-1 my correct score prediction.
