Ukraine have made a poor start to their Nations League B bid and Georgia can pile the pressure on Serhiy Rebrov’s men in Poland.

Ukraine had been getting some strong results as the designated home team at neutral locations but they slipped to a 2-1 loss to Albania in Prague in the last round of Nations League games and have won just two of their last six as the home team.

After exiting Euro 2024 at the group stage, albeit incredibly harshly, Ukraine have two defeats in as many games in this competitions and in-form Georgia look backable as underdogs.

The visitors reached the knockout stages in Germany and Willy Sagnol’s men have kicked on since losing out to eventual winners Spain, beating Czechia 4-1 at home and winning 1-0 in Albania in their two NL outings so far.

A 2-1 win for the visitors is the correct score pick as Ukraine have seen both teams score in three of their last four overall and they’ve scored in defeat in both of their NL games, and both losses have come by one-goal margins.

Georgia forward Georges Mikautadze has been used sparingly by club side Lyon this season and is yet to score since joining the French outfit. However, he remains a key man in the Georgia attack and has five goals in his last seven games for his country – including three in four Euro 2024 games – and he looks a good candidate for an anytime effort here.
