Ukraine vs Serbia Predictions

Ukraine followed up a decent draw away at Portugal with a win in Luxembourg and sit top of Group B heading into this weeks round of fixtures. Serbia also managed to take a point from their trip to Portugal, but Friday’s match is only their second qualifier, due to the number of teams in the group, and again it’s a tricky away game.

The much improved Luxembourg took the lead at home to Ukraine through Turpel in the thirty-fourth minute, but Tsygankov equalised for Ukraine before the interval. Yevhen Konoplyanka possesses a goal threat from the Ukraine midfield having scored nineteen times in seventy-nine appearances for his country, while striker Artem Kravets has netted eight times in twenty matches. Aleksandar Mitrović is the obvious choice to lead the line for Serbia having scored twenty-three times in forty-seven caps, but Dušan Tadić is in fine form this season and already has fifteen international goals.
