Not many teams in the first round of Champions League qualifying can claim to be former winners of the competition but that is the case for FCSB, who took the European crown in 1986 when they were known as Steaua Bucuresti.

After a tumultuous few years off the pitch they won their first Romanian title since 2015 last season and will be looking to make a splash on their return to this competition.

They featured in a Europa Conference League group with West Ham two seasons ago so are big fish for this level and should have little trouble getting the better of Virtus Acquaviva.
