      Wales vs Belgium Predictions

      • Seven of Wales’ last nine fixtures have seen both teams net
      • Both teams have scored in seven of Belgium’s last eight games
      • Belgium are on a run of 29 wins from 39 matches

      Can Wales bounce back?

Wales suffered a heartbreaking last minute defeat to the Netherlands on Wednesday night, meaning they’ve lost their opening two Nations League matches.

Rob Pages’ side, who recently enjoyed the high of qualifying for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, saw both teams score in each of those games, as they have in five of their last six at home.

Indeed, neither side has kept a clean sheet in the last three meetings between these two countries, including a 1-1 draw last year, while Wales have beaten Belgium just twice in nine clashes since 1993.

Hit and miss Belgium guarantee goals

Belgium’s form has become a little more inconsistent of late, winning only three of their last nine, but one thing Roberto Martinez’s side always manage to do is score.

Indeed, they have netted in 46 consecutive matches, including five second half strikes during a 6-1 battering of Poland on Wednesday night.

The former Everton manager has lost just eight times from 72 outings as Red Devils boss, while only one of their last 10 on the road has ended in defeat.

And when it comes to away matches, three in a row, as well as eight of the last ten, have seen both teams score, showing they are a little bit frail at the back.

I predict that Belgium will win this game but that both teams will score, with 3-1 to the visitors my correct score prediction.
