      Wales To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Kazakhstan failed to score in any of their six Nations League games recently, and look unlikely to trouble a Wales side who have three clean sheets in their last four home games. Side with Craig Bellamy’s men to win to nil.

      Wales 3-0

      Reason for tip

Two of Kazakhstan’s last seven Nations League matches have finished 3-0 to their opponents and a repeat of that looks on the cards  in this first World Cup qualifier as they are set to be outclassed by the Dragons in this clash.

      Wales vs Kazakhstan Predictions

      • Kazakhstan failed to score in any of their six Nations League games recently
      • Wales have kept three clean sheets in their last four home matches
      • The Dragons are unbeaten in six matches under Craig Bellamy

      Wales on a roll

Wales have improved hand over fist under new manager Craig Bellamy and they should be able to continue their upward progress when they host Kazakhstan in the first of their World Cup qualifiers on Saturday.

The hosts are unbeaten in six games since Bellamy’s arrival and finished ahead of Iceland and Turkey in their Nations League group as a result.

The former Liverpool and Newcastle striker is working with broadly the same squad that his predecessor Rob Page was but his intense style of play has got much more out of the side.

Familiar foes Belgium are in their World Cup qualifying group, along with North Macedonia and Lichtenstein but in their current form the Dragons will fancy their chances of reaching just a third World Cup in their history.

      Kazakhstan outclassed

Their opening game is against a Kazakhstan side who have struggled recently. The Hawks failed to score in any of their six Nations League games in the most recent campaign, losing five of those.

The visitors are winless in their last 18 World Cup qualifiers and have only scored 11 goals during that span. Side with Wales to win this one to nil.

Kazakhstan have lost two of their last seven Nations League games by a 3-0 scoreline and a repeat of that is fancied in this World Cup qualifier.
