Wolfsburg look poised to earn a home win over a Holstein Kiel side who have lost six times in their last eight away games in the Bundesliga.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s hosts are seventh in the German top flight, ten places and 16 points above Holstein Kiel. The Wolves have eight wins, three draws, and seven defeats this season, while the visitors have won three times and lost 13 times.

After a 5-1 Volkswagen Arena win over Monchengladbach on their penultimate start, the hosts were beaten 3-2 when heavy outsiders away to Bayern Munich in their most recent Bundesliga outing last week.

Marcel Rapp’s Kiel are in poor form, they were beaten 3-1 last weekend by a Hoffenheim side who were on a six-game winless run, and a trip to Wolfsburg presents a more difficult test.

With the visitors on a run of five straight away defeats in the Bundesliga, a 3-1 home win for Wolfsburg is an attractive correct-score bet. Three of the hosts’ eight wins this season came by two-goal margins.
