Yeovil Town vs Halifax Predictions

Goals on the agenda at Huish Park

Yeovil Town entertain Halifax Town in the National League’s late kick off on Saturday and goals could be on the cards at Huish Park.

The Glovers picked up a first win of the season last time out as they picked up a 2-1 win at Aldershot, having lost their opener at home to King’s Lynn by the same scoreline.

Halifax have managed two wins in a row after opening the season with a 2-1 loss at home to Maidenhead.  Town won 3-2 at Woking and then downed Altrincham 2-0 at home, meaning there have been over 2.5 goals scored in four of the five matches one of these two teams have been involved in.

As such over 2.5 goals is my main tip for this fixture in the fifth tier of English football and I’m going to go for a 3-1 win for the visitors as my correct score option.

The Shaymen won the corresponding fixture 3-0 last season and have five wins in their last six competitive away games, while Yeovil have struggled at home recently.  

The Somerset side have three defeats in their last five home outings, with one win and one draw, and last season they managed just 31 points from 21 home games.
