Will Barca bounce back?

Defeats away to Inter, last week, and Bayern Munich mean Barcelona are struggling in Group C, but they have won their only home game in the competition so far, beating Vikoria Plzen 5-1.

Xavi’s side have in fact picked up four successive victories at Camp Nou, while also winning 36 of their 45 home Champions League outings since the start of the 2013/14 season.

That run includes two victories over Inter, who have in fact lost on their last five trips to this corner of Spain, with their only win here coming way back in 1970.

Can Inter pick up a vital win?

Sitting in second place in the group, Inter know a win here would almost certainly see them qualify for the knock-out stages, but their form has been a little patchy of late.

The Italians required a late Edin Dzeko goal to squeeze past Sassuolo at the weekend and have in fact lost five of their last ten matches.

Three of those defeats have come on the road for Simone Inzaghi’s side, conceding at least three goals in each of those losses.
