Inter to continue treble charge

Inter are in form and should be backed to continue their winning habit away at Bologna on Sunday. Simone Inzaghi’s side have been scoring plenty of goals this season and will be confident of finding the back of the net at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Leaders Inter have chalked up 21 wins, eight draws and three defeats from their 32 games this season, while Bologna are fifth in the table having won 15, drawn 12 and lost five.

The Nerazzurri beat Cagliari 3-1 last weekend to maintain their recent winning trend, then advanced to the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday at the expense of Bayern Munich, drawing 2-2 on the night to win the tie 4-3 on aggregate.

They have won 20 of the 23 Serie A games in which they’ve scored first this season and have recorded 18 wins in the 26 matches where they have been odds-on.

They should find it relatively easy to break down Bologna’s defence. The hosts have conceded in seven of their last nine home games in the league.

It would be no surprise to see Inter find the back of the net more than once, having scored three goals or more in 13 of their 32 Serie A games this season. Inter to win away 2-0 looks a decent correct-score bet.
