Burton Albion vs AFC Bournemouth Predictions

Following successive wins against Everton and Southampton in the Premier League, Bournemouth come into their Carabao Cup Round Three clash with League One side Burton Albion in fine fettle.

After failing to fully fire in the opening throes of the season, the Cherries’ attack has found its groove of late, hitting the net six times in total in their victories over the Toffees and the Saints, utilising the considerable pace in their frontline to deadly effect.

Bournemouth’s ability to counter attack with speed has allowed them to become quite a prolific team on the road. In fact, the Cherries registered at least twice in six of their last eight Premier League matches away from the Vitality Stadium since the end of last season.

On Wednesday, Bournemouth’s rapid attacking options will be out to pierce holes in a Burton Albion defence that has shipped goals with regularity this season.
