After their third-placed finish in the winter World Cup, Croatia finally return to action as they seek progression to EURO 2024. On paper, Croatia should be winning this group with ease but should the unthinkable happen, they’ve already done enough to secure a play-off spot through the Nations League, so Zlatko Dalic won’t be sweating about their ticket just yet.

Croatia are expected to win this group and for good reason, with Wales and Turkey the most likely sides battling it out for the second qualification berth. The Red Dragons will struggle to get off to a flier here though, as Croatia have never lost a home European qualifier in their entire history (W27, D8)!
