Crystal Palace vs Liverpool Predictions
Crystal Palace have suddenly found their shooting boots. They had really struggled to get goals due to their lack of an out and out striker, but they have managed to net two goals in back to back games after their 2-2 draw with Sunderland in midweek.
The results haven’t started coming for Alan Pardew’s side though. They haven’t won a Premier League game since the middle of December, with seven of their 11 outings since then ending in defeat for the struggling side.
This has unsurprisingly seen them start slipping down the table, and if it weren’t for their impressive start to the season they would undoubtedly be in the middle of a relegation battle. They’re not out of the woods yet though, with nine points separating them from the bottom three.
Liverpool aren’t having the best of seasons either. They sit in 8th position in the Premier League and are out of the FA Cup, in addition to their penalty defeat at Wembley in the Capital One Cup final last weekend. Jurgen Klopp did manage to get his own back in midweek though, with Liverpool thrashing Manchester City 3-0 at Anfield to cast further doubts over the visitors title credentials.
Both of these teams have struggled for creativity at times this season, but they also both seem to be on the up in goalscoring terms. Crystal Palace have scored in each of their last six matches and will be buoyed up front by their success in the past week. Liverpool have netted in six of their last seven in all competitions and will also be high on confidence after dismantling Man City with such ease.
This makes odds of 10/11 for Both Teams to Score look very good value, and with Liverpool being away from home I’m going for a 1-1 correct score prediction at 11/2.
