Derby attempting to find some consistency

Derby picked up a decent 2-1 victory over managerless West Brom on Boxing Day, but their form going into that game was poor.

The Rams have still lost four of their last seven fixtures, including a 2-0 reversal to Leeds at the start of December.

Worryingly, Paul Warne’s side have also failed to win back-to-back matches in nearly four months, while coming out on top in only two of their last six outings at Pride Park.

Leeds on a roll

Looking to take full advantage will be a Leeds United side who beat Stoke City 2-0 on Boxing Day, a result that led to the sacking of Potters boss Narcís Pelach.

Losing to Leeds is nothing to be ashamed of this season though, given the Yorkshire outfit arrive in Derbyshire sitting top of the Championship, thanks to accumulating 48 points in 23 games.

Daniel Farke’s side have been motoring of late, winning seven times in the last nine attempts (while losing only to Blackburn), while losing just twice in 11 away fixtures in the Championship.
