Everton to Win

Reason for tip

After a disastrous start, Everton have steadied the ship and hit some form with two wins and two draws in their last four games. The hosts are building some momentum and can extend their unbeaten streak with three points against Fulham, who come into the game after back-to-back losses.

Everton 2-1

Reason for tip

An Everton win is our main tip and a 2-1 win for the hosts has a chance. The Merseyside outfit have managed back-to-back clean sheets but Fulham have scored in nine successive games and can get on the scoresheet here, while Everton have scored exactly twice in two of their last three games.

Dwight McNeil To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Dwight McNeil has three goals and three assists to his name this season, meaning he has been directly involved in two thirds of Everton’s league goals.

Everton vs Fulham Predictions

  • Everton are unbeaten in their last four league games (W2, D2).
  • Fulham have lost their last two.
  • Dwight McNeil has three goals and three assists in eight Premier League games.

Improving Everton host Fulham

Everton have hit a bit of form after a terrible start and they will be looking to extend their unbeaten run when Fulham arrive at Goodison for the late game on Saturday.

The Merseyside outfit started the season with four straight Premier League losses but are unbeaten in four since (W2, D2).

In contrast, Fulham’s form has dipped as they lost just one of their opening six games but head to Goodison after back-to-back defeats, so on form and taking the prices into account an Everton win appeal here.

Sean Dyche’s men have four points from their last two home games and look to be building up some momentum.

Fulham’s three losses have all come in tricky games, at both Manchester clubs and against Aston Villa, but their away form hasn’t been particularly impressive aside from a hard fought win at Nottingham Forest, so as marginal underdogs the hosts look worth siding with.

Fulham unlikely to draw a blank

If Everton are to win, they may need to score more than once to claim the spoils as Fulham have scored in nine straight games since losing 1-0 at Old Trafford in the opening round of games.

The Cottagers struck twice in defeat to Manchester City so they should be able to get on the scoresheet at Everton.

A 2-1 win for the home side is the correct score prediction as Everton haven’t scored more than twice in a Premier League game since December, but they have scored exactly twice in two of their last three. Fulham may have to settle for just one goal despite their strong scoring form as Everton come into the game after back-to-back clean sheets, but they did concede exactly one goal in each of their three games prior to those pair of shutouts.

Everton’s Dwight McNeil is worth a look in the scorer market as he has three goals and three assists to his name this season, meaning he has been directly involved in two thirds of his side’s league goals.
