Two giants of international football clash on Wednesday night, with this encounter in Dortmund marking the start of the international break. Both of these sides had a tough time at the 2018 World Cup, while they’ve not had the greatest time since. Argentina remain without Lionel Messi and they are in the middle of a transition period, with some lesser talents being asked to step up.

They’ve conceded six times across their two meetings with Holland, with all of their major tests since the World Cup showing them up. They conceded seven goals in their Nations League clashes with France and Holland, so Argentina’s fresh forward line should cause problems.

Argentina are looking to solidify a new-look defence, while Germany have scored 17 times across their last five matches in all competitions. They have in form Timo Werner and Serge Gnabry in their side, so they should trouble the visitors.
