Napoli Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Reason for tip

Juventus have failed to win five of their last eight home Serie A matches, including against Roma last time out, while Napoli have won three in a row and appear to be heading in the right direction.

Draw 2-2

Reason for tip

There is so much attacking quality on show that goals seem inevitable, although how many will come down to the tactical approach of both sides and their finishing ability. Napoli scored four against a Cagliari side that held Roma to a 0-0 draw – just as Juventus did, so they could be the first Italian teak to score against the Old Lady this season.

Juventus vs Napoli Predictions

  • Juventus have failed to win five of their last eight home Serie A matches, including against Roma last time out
  • After losing their opener at Verona, Napoli have won three in a row and appear to be heading in the right direction

Old Lady could be in for a jolt from Conte

Juventus look like uneasy favourites for Saturday’s big Serie A clash at home to leaders Napoli, despite their impressive Champions League win over PSV Eindhoven in midweek.

Thiago Motta’s men swept aside the Dutch champions with ease, going 3-0 up before the hour mark and then taking their foot off the gas. That was perhaps understandable given the size of their looming task at home to Napoli, who appear to have got to grips with Antonio Conte’s requirements.

The Partonopei have had a free week to focus on this fixture and will arrive in Turin on the back of three impressive wins over Bologna, Parma and Cagliari.

Vlahovic blamed for Juve’s Serie A struggles

Juventus have drawn their last two league games 0-0 and were looking pretty blunt up front. Most of the blame in the media had been apportioned to number nine Dusan Vlahovic, who missed a couple of chances to kickstart his campaign again on Tuesday.

Napoli have no such goalscoring issues at the moment, despite losing Victor Osimhen in the summer. They have adapted to Conte’s 3-4-3 system well with Kvicha Khavartskhelia linking up well with Romelu Lukaku in attack.

Conte’s side can avoid defeat at Allianz Arena and there could be a few goals in the game if Napoli come with an ambitious gameplan.
