Lokomotiv Moscow winless streak to continue

It’s top of the group against bottom as leaders Galatasary travel to Russia to take on Lokomotiv Moscow at the RZD Arena.

The hosts are in poor form heading into this one, they’ve lost two of their last three games, are without a win in their previous six games and have conceded two goals in each of their last three. This fixture was also played in the Champions League group stages back in 2018 when the hosts won 2-0 and they’ll be hoping that lightning can strike twice and help them challenge for qualification into the next round.

It’s a different story for Galatasaray, Fatih Terim’s side are unbeaten in their last four competitive matches. They have four points in the Europa League so far after a 0-0 draw away to Marseille and a narrow 1-0 win at home to Lazio.
The visitors have an established brand of football, they will play their football in the Lokomotiv Moscow half and wait for gaps in the home sides defence and look to exploit them with their range of passing.

We’re expecting a competitive and close game here, but the home sides form can’t be ignored and they’re leaking goals. Galatasary should be able to take at least one of the chances they create whilst limiting the hosts and frustrating the home crowd.
Another 1-0 win for Galatasaray wouldn’t be a surprise here.
