Forest to dent drifting Baggies

West Brom are only five points shy of the playoffs, but it’s increasingly likely that they’ll face another year at this level. While Steve Bruce has plenty of promotion knowhow, things haven’t yet clicked for him at the Baggies.

Away form has been a huge concern for the visitors, as they’ve lost seven of their nine away games this side of Christmas. That’s seen them fall from automatic promotion hopefuls to 11th, meaning Forest should easily dispatch them here.

Forest flying at home

In 2022, the only side to beat Forest at the City ground is Liverpool. Outside of that they’ve picked up 10 wins and a draw, a record which should leave the Baggies worried.

Forest have won their last five at home in the league, scoring at least twice in each of those wins. They host a West Brom side who have lost five of their six visits to the league’s top seven, so I’m confident in a home victory. Given the Baggies have failed to score in seven of their last 10 trips, back a 2-0 victory for the hosts.
