Marseille face a battle in the capital

Marseille may head into Sunday night’s Le Classique above PSG, but they’re still in for a tough clash against the French champions. The hosts have won 22 of their 29 encounters against Marseille in all competitions in the QSI era, their second-best record against any side.

They’ve been particularly consistent at home, winning 13 of the 15 home meetings between the two sides in that time. When you consider that Marseille have won just one of their last seven Ligue 1 away games, it’s hard to have much faith in them capitalising on PSG’s issues this term.

Mbappe to fire hosts to victory

Kylian Mbappe is just two goals shy of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record for goals scored in Le Classique’s history (11) and the forward is in incredible form. He has scored in all four Ligue 1 games so far, while the forward has scored twice in each of his last three league appearances. Mbappe has found the net in 11 of his last 12 league appearances, so he’s worth backing to score anytime this weekend.

Mbappe can fire PSG to victory over Marseille yet again, but the visitors have scored in six of their seven matches this term. Meanwhile, PSG have seen BTTS land in four of their last five, so back them to concede in a victory.
