This Europa League tie is finely poised heading into the 2nd leg on Thursday, With Belgian side Club Brugge taking a narrow 2-1 lead to Austria. Both teams picked up wins on Sunday and should head into Thursday’s match with plenty of confidence. RB Salzburg will be keen to make up for their defeat in Belgium after having more of the possession and creating just as many chances to score as their 1st leg hosts.

Both teams head into the 2nd leg with one defeat in their last six competitive matches, so confidence is bound to be high in both camps and that should lead to another very close game between the pair on Thursday. The hosts won all six of their group games and we’re unlucky not to have at least drawn the 1st leg against Club Brugge, but their guests beat Monaco 4-0 away from home and earned draws against Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League group which suggests they certainly wont prove easy to defeat.
