Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea Predictions
- Tottenham claimed four points from Chelsea last season.
- Spurs have won their last four games and are unbeaten in normal time this season.
- Chelsea have four defeats in 10 Premier League games.
Surging Spurs can see off Chelsea
Tottenham may have been replaced as the league leaders by the time they entertain Chelsea on Monday, but can ensure they finish the latest round of Premier League games in top spot with three points.
Chelsea impressed in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal but were then beaten 2-0 by Brentford at home, while Spurs come into the game seeking to extend a four-game winning run and unbeaten in 90 minutes across all competitions this season.
Spurs have ended Chelsea hoodoo
Chelsea dominated this fixture for a few years and enjoyed a nine-game unbeaten streak against their London rivals from early 2019 until last season.
The tide turned last year, however, as Spurs took four points from the two league meetings and they look well placed to make it two wins in a row against Chelsea based on current form.
Tottenham have won their last four games across all competitions and face a Chelsea side who were poor against Brentford last time out, so Spurs should be able to claim maximum points.
Son the key for Spurs
A 2-0 win for Tottenham is the correct score prediction as they have scored exactly two goals in all four of their home league games, and have conceded just twice themselves. Chelsea have also failed to score in three of their four league losses.
Son Heung-min is in fine form for Tottenham and the South Korean has scored in each of his last three appearances for club and country. Son has eight goals in 10 Premier League games this season – just two shy of his tally for the whole of last year – and is the standout candidate for an anytime goal here.
