Milan can end Udinese hoodoo

AC Milan have lost their last two games against Udinese but can break that run with three points in the late Serie A game on Saturday.

The Rossoneri have hit some form with five wins and one draw in their last six games, while Udinese have started to wobble.

The hosts are Serie A’s draw specialists with 12 of their 20 games ending all square. They have won just twice, losing the other six – and those defeats have all come against teams in the top nine.

Milan sit third in the table and are coming into the game with momentum behind them, and they can pick up all three points in Udine.

Udinese have scored in each of their last eight home games and Milan have managed just one clean sheet in their last seven away from home. That suggests goals at both ends could be on the cards and as Milan have scored at least three goals in each of their last three wins – and exactly three in two of those – a 3-1 win for the visitors is the correct score prediction.

Olivier Giroud is an obvious scorer pick but Theo Hernandez looks a potential outside option. The defender scored in the 3-1 win over Roma last time out and has been contributing in attack recently, registering three assists and then that strike against the Giallorossi over the course of his last four games, so he appeals for an anytime effort.
