      West Bromwich Albion to Win

West Brom have been strong at The Hawthorns, winning seven of their last nine home games. With Hull struggling near the bottom, the Baggies should secure another victory as they push for the play-offs.

      West Bromwich Albion 2-0

      Reason for tip

West Brom have won five games this season by a two-goal margin, while Hull have lost five matches by the same scoreline. A 2-0 home win looks like a solid prediction.

West Bromwich Albion vs Hull City Predictions

Hawthorns proving a tough ground to visit

West Brom have won seven of their last nine Championship home games and they are worth backing to get another victory when Hull visit The Hawthorns on Saturday.

They are fifth in the Championship, 13 places and 16 points above Hull. The hosts have won 13 of their 37 games this season, while Hull sit 18th with ten wins so far.

West Brom, who are pushing for a play-off spot under returning manager Tony Mowbray, have avoided defeat in nine of their last ten Championship games against Hull and are unbeaten in six of their last seven matches overall.

That includes a gritty 1-0 success over QPR last week when the Baggies had to play the second half with ten men following a red card for Darnell Furlong. The defender appealed the decision but was unsuccessful and must serve a suspension, but Albion can still come out on top.

West Brom have won their last two home games and, with five of their 13 wins this season coming by a two-goal margin, a 2-0 home win looks the best correct-score bet. Five of Hull’s 17 defeats this season have also been by a two-goal margin.
