West Ham vs Arsenal Betting Tips & Predictions

West Ham’s hopes of a top four spot were dealt a blow last weekend when Crystal Palace managed to get a 2-2 draw at Upton Park, a result which allowed Manchester City and Manchester United to open up a gap between them and the top four.

The hosts now come into this match with three points between them and 4th placed Manchester City, but the battle for that coveted position certainly isn’t over just yet.

West Ham have proven incredibly difficult to beat this season. They have notched up some very impressive away wins against Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City and come into this game having not lost any of their last nine matches in all competitions. This run has also helped them to an FA Cup quarter final replay with Manchester United next week.

However, their three consecutive draws recently have brought back memories of their eight match winless streak back at the end of 2015, so they will be desperate to pick up three points from somewhere.

It’s not out of the question on Saturday either. Arsenal have lost five of their last nine games in all competitions and have only won three of their last ten outings. This has put them all but out of the Premier League title race, with 11 points between them and top of the table Leicester.

Admittedly, they were impressive in their 4-0 hammering of Watford last time out, but they will be facing a much more difficult task away from home against West Ham.

I think three points could be beyond Arsenal on Saturday. The hosts haven’t lost at Upton Park since August, with nine wins and six draws being played out there in all competitions since a shock loss to Bournemouth.

This all points towards West Ham getting something from their London rivals, and odds of 1.925 for a West Ham +0.5 Asian Handicap Win look excellent value for money. I’m going for a 1-1 correct score prediction at 6/1 as well.
