The Yankees need to end a series on a positive note, not losing 5 of their last 6.  This Yankees team has been up and down this season, and they’ll be playing the winner of the Baltimore/Detroit series, and both teams have been hot over the last couple of days.  I think the Yankees get their positive energy back and avoid the sweep.

The Dodgers will most likely rest many of their key players, but I still think they still play key players as they’ll be a few days off between today and their first game of the postseason.  This Dodgers team is scary, and I think Feltner struggles again, no matter who the Dodgers put in their rotation.

Seattle’s defense has been almost perfect under the guidance of new head coach Mike Macdonald, and they should be able to keep the Lions in check and stay at least within a field goal. Detroit’s offense has underwhelmed so far and could find it tough to move the chains in this one.

Cincinnati should be able to take care of a Panthers team that is still among the worst in the league and just lost receiver Adam Thielen to injured reserve.

The Jets just dominated the Patriots on both offense and defense, and we should see something similar here against the Broncos. New York held New England to just three points, and with Denver rookie QB Bo Nix struggling so far, we can expect the Jets to take advantage and comfortably outscore their opponents.

The Jags might be winless and just got blown out by the Bills, but this is a crunch AFC South divisional game and they should stay competitive. The Texans also got obliterated by the Vikings and their offense has been underwhelming thus far, which could open the door for Jacksonville to keep this within a touchdown.

The Rams’ defense has struggled but that is largely due to coming against hot offenses. They should have more success against a Bears team that has looked incredibly flat with Caleb Williams under center, while LA’s offense proved it could get it done without Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua after their victory over the 49ers last week.

Quarterback Jordan Love is expected to return for the Packers in this one and that should help them take down the undefeated Vikings, who have looked hot so far but QB Sam Darnold may find things difficult under pressure from this hot Green Bay defense.

After two dominant wins, the Saints were brought back down to Earth with defeat to the Eagles and their offense could be in for more frustration against a Falcons defense that has been hot so far this season.

The Eagles have a ton of injury issues with AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Darius Slay all potentially missing out, and that should give the advantage to the home underdog Buccaneers, who have already proven they can take down top teams after beating the Lions in Week 2.

The Steelers have stormed out to a 3-0 record and could secure another win here against the Colts. Indianapolis has heavily leaned on its run game so far this season, and given Pittsburgh’s run-defense is the best in the league, they should be able to frustrate the Colts and cover this small spread.
