Weekly Top 10: Massive 5,400/1 acca for this week

With an extended international break just around the corner, we should look to make the most of the next seven days of club football.

This midweek is headlined by the return of the Europa League, while there’s action in the Carabao Cup, Scottish Premiership and La Liga. I’ve picked out my 10 favourite bets from the next seven days, which combine for a massive 5,400/1 tenfold!

Hearts to win at Falkirk (Tuesday, 7:45pm)

Hearts have won their last four Premiership matches after starting with a defeat to Aberdeen, and they were 3-0 winners over Stenhousemuir in the cup last weekend.

Falkirk are winless in the Premiership this season, and they’ve already suffered defeats to Celtic, Rangers and St Mirren. The hosts have struggled at both ends this term, scoring three times and keeping one clean sheet in five matches. With Hearts on a roll, back them for all three points.

Real Madrid to win and both teams to score vs Elche (Tuesday, 8:30pm)

Real Madrid have made a strong start under Jose Mourinho, winning four of their first five La Liga games and beating Inter Milan 2-1 in the Champions League. However, defensive issues have plagued them, as they’ve kept one clean sheet in six matches overall.

They visit a winless Elche side on Tuesday night, and the hosts have suffered 3-2 defeats to Racing Santander and Real Sociedad across their last three games. Elche have only failed to score once this term, and they can score a consolation goal against Real.

Both teams to score in Bayer Leverkusen vs Celje (Wednesday, 8pm)

Celje continued their impressive scoring record in Europe through Champions League qualifying, with BTTS landing in five of their six matches before they fell at the final hurdle.

Celje have failed to score on only four occasions across their last 25 European trips, dating back to 2023. They’ve scored twice or more in 10 of their last 15 away matches in continental competition, and they can exploit a Leverkusen side who have drawn 2-2 with Augsburg and lost 3-2 to Elversburg already this term.

Ferencvaros double chance vs Celtic (Thursday, 8pm)

Celtic were put out of the Scottish League Cup by Rangers on Sunday, and they face another tricky match on Thursday night. Hungarian side Ferencvaros won six and drew two of their eight qualifiers, claiming victories at Twente and Trabzonspor.

Celtic conceded far too many chances in both legs of their Champions League qualifier against LASK, and more defensive issues should prevent them from beating Ferencvaros.

Lillestrom -1 handicap vs Torreense (Thursday, 8pm)

Portuguese second-tier side Torreense are one of the standout stories in this season’s Europa League, but they face a difficult visit to Lillestrom on Thursday night.

The surprise Portuguese cup winners look like one of the weakest sides in the League Phase. They head to a Lillestrom side that has won four of their last five matches, and home advantage should help the Norwegian side to a routine victory.

Sassuolo to win at both teams to score vs Monza (Friday, 7:45pm)

Sassuolo have made a bright start under Alberto Aquilani, and they claimed their first big scalp of the season on Sunday night. The Neroverdi beat Juventus in chaotic fashion, scoring a 94th-minute winner after conceding an equaliser three minutes earlier.

Monza suffered their third defeat in four Serie A games at the weekend, falling 3-2 at Lecce. Both teams have scored in all four of their league games so far, while Sassuolo have scored and conceded in five straight matches.

Monaco to beat Lens (Friday, 7:45pm)

Monaco’s five-game winning run was snapped at the weekend, as they drew 1-1 at Strasbourg. They put in a solid performance in that draw, and a return to winning ways is on the cards in Friday’s home meeting with Lens.

Lens have taken one point from the last nine available in Ligue 1, drawing 2-2 with Le Mans last weekend. They’re struggling to click after a big summer of departures, while Monaco sit among the early pacesetters with 10 points from four matches.

Borussia Dortmund to win at Stuttgart (Saturday, 5:30pm)

Dortmund have started with three wins from three in the Bundesliga, along with a victory in their Champions League opener. Niko Kovac’s side look like the only side capable of chasing down Bayern Munich, and they can continue their perfect start in Saturday’s visit to Stuttgart.

Stuttgart fell to a 2-1 defeat at Hoffenheim last weekend, which followed their 5-1 hammering against Bayern Munich in their season opener. Dortmund were 2-0 winners at this ground in May, and they can make it six wins from six in all competitions.

PSV to win at FC Twente (Sunday, 1:30pm)

PSV beat Sparta Rotterdam 4-1 to claim their fifth straight win in the Eredivisie, which took them top of the standings. This is a rare opportunity to back PSV at above evens in a league game, with Twente also making a strong start.

The hosts recovered from their loss at Heerenveen in their opener to put together a five-game unbeaten run. However, they’ve yet to face any of the Eredivisie’s elite, and their three home victories have come against teams in the bottom six.

Bournemouth over 1.5 team goals vs Liverpool (Sunday, 2pm)

New Bournemouth boss Marco Rose is yet to secure his first victory, but he can make his mark against his predecessor on Sunday.

The Cherries have scored eight times across their last three matches, while Iraola’s Liverpool are yet to shake the defensive issues that plagued them throughout last season.
